I hope you can see the difference between the last picture; I have done a lot with this piece today. I hope tomorrow I finish it and I can frame it on Friday before the exhibit. Well so far today I have been proctoring FCAT if you're a teacher in Florida you know what that is. You know? This test is a big great controversy upon teachers, students and parents. I really have to say that I'm neutral it has its pro's and con's like every thing in life and we learn something new every year from it. Is not a perfect test, but nor are we. I have to admit that if I was taking it I would not be doing good in the math part. I have to say it, but as a teacher the reason I did not do well in math was my teachers fault. They care less if I learned or not.

What the heck is this about?

What the heck is this about? Craziness! That’s what it is. I started this challenge the first of January of 2010 because I’m NUTS, the truth is that I’m done with college and there is no more cramming, no more socializing and no more competition with my peers. I know myself to well and I know that I will procrastinate everyday; no work will be done to show for my talent and I will lose practice to the only thing that keeps me insane. For 365 days of 2010 I will challenge my self to do art in any shape or form and it will be documented on my blog. I can use any medium that is art related (wet or dry medium). This will consist of me doing art everyday for more that 30 minutes up to when my back can’t take it any more and my eyes start to wonder towards the inside of my eye lids. I don’t have to finish the artwork the same day that would be impossible (as if this is not crazy enough) I would like do a nice job. It would be crazy to assume that I would do the same thing everyday (it all depends on the artwork), so the days will look like this: sketching in my sketchbook, working on my illustrations, working on my websites or painting. What will I do with all the artwork? Burn it! No, I’m just kidding, I will try my best to have a solo exhibition at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2011 (that is great because no one will have any money to buy any of my paintings everyone will be paying off their credit cards from the holidays spending, myself included) I will exhibit my work then. I will call it! 365 dayz of art.
